Accommodation Terms and Conditions
Article 1 Scope of Application
Accommodation contracts and related agreements concluded by the inn with guests shall be governed by these General Conditions of Use, and matters not stipulated in these General Conditions of Use shall be governed by laws and ordinances or generally established customs.
In the event that the inn accepts a special agreement to the extent that it does not contravene laws,regulations or customs, such special agreement shall prevail notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
Article 2 Application for Accommodation Contract
A person who wishes to apply for a lodging contract with this inn shall provide the following information to the inn:
(1)Name of the guest
(2)Date of stay and estimated time of arrival
(3)Room charge (in principle, based on the basic room charge in Appendix 1)
(4)Other matters deemed necessary by the inn
If the guest requests continuation of the stay beyond the accommodation days specified in item 2 of the preceding paragraph during the stay, the inn shall treat the request as an offer for a new accommodation contract at the time the request is made.
Article 3 Formation of Accommodation Contract, etc.
Conditions of Accommodation shall come into effect when the inn accepts the application set forth in the preceding article. However, this shall not apply when the inn proves that it has not accepted the application.
When an accommodation contract has been concluded in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the basic accommodation charge for the period of stay (if it exceeds three days, three days) shall be paid.
The security deposit shall first be applied to the final accommodation charge to be paid by the Guest and shall be paid in accordance with the provisions of Article 6. In the event that the provisions of Article 18 apply, medical expenses shall be charged first, followed by compensation. Any remaining balance shall be refunded at the time of payment of the charges in accordance with the provisions of Article 12.
In the event that the application fee set forth in Paragraph 2 is not paid by the date designated by the inn in accordance with the provisions of the same Paragraph, the inn shall not be liable for any damage caused by the failure to pay the application fee.
Article 4 Special Agreement Not to Require Payment of Application Fee
Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 2 of the preceding article, the inn may accept a special agreement not to require the payment of the application fee set forth in the same paragraph after the conclusion of the contract.
In the event that the inn does not request the payment of the application fee set forth in Paragraph 2 of the preceding article, or does not specify the date of payment of said application fee, the inn shall be treated as not having accepted the special agreement set forth in the preceding paragraph.
Article 5 Refusal of Conclusion of Accommodation Contract
The inn may not accept the conclusion of a lodging contract in the following cases:
(1)When the application for accommodation is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
(2)When there is no room available due to full occupancy.
(3)When a person who intends to stay at the inn is deemed likely to commit an act that is against the provisions of laws and regulations, public order or good morals.
(4)When it is recognized that the person who intends to stay at the inn falls under the following (a) to (c).
(a) In the event that the Organized Crime Group prescribed in Article 2, item 2 of the Act on Prevention, etc. of Unjustifiable Acts by Organized Crime Groups (Act No. 77 of 1991) (hereinafter referred to as "Organized Crime Group") has been established, the Organized Crime. A person related to a Bōryokudan or other antisocial force.
(b) When the applicant is a juridical person or other organization whose business activities are controlled by a crime syndicate or a crime syndicate member.
(c) A juridical person whose officers are members of a crime syndicate.
(5)When a person who intends to stay at the inn says or does something that causes significant inconvenience to other guests.
(6)When it is clearly recognized that the person who intends to stay at the inn is a person with a contagious disease.
(7)When a violent demand is made or a burden exceeding a reasonable range is requested in relation to accommodation. When a violent demand for accommodation is made or a burden exceeding the reasonable range is demanded.
(8)When it is impossible to accommodate the guest due to natural disaster, breakdown of facilities, or other unavoidable reasons.
(9)When the case falls under the provisions of Article 10 of the Tottori Prefecture Ryokan Business Law Construction Ordinance.
Article 6 Guest’s Right to Cancel the Contract
The guest may cancel the accommodation contract by making a request to the inn.
In the event that the guest cancels the whole or a part of the accommodation contract due to reasons attributable to the guest, the inn shall notify the guest of the reason for the cancellation. (except when the guest cancels the accommodation contract prior to the payment of the application fee) In the event that the inn cancels the accommodation contract before the payment of the application fee, the inn shall charge a penalty fee in accordance with the provisions of Article 2 of the attached table.
However, if the inn cancels the accommodation contract before the payment of the penalty fee, the inn shall charge the penalty fee in accordance with the provisions of Article 4.
The inn shall not be liable for any damage caused by a guest who arrives at the inn after 18:00 p.m.on the day of stay (or two hours beyond the estimated time of arrival if the estimated time of arrival is specified in advance) without notifying the inn. If the guest has not arrived by 18:00 p.m. on the day of stay (two hours beyond the estimated time of arrival if the estimated time of arrival has been specified in advance) without notifying the inn, the accommodation contract may be deemed to have been cancelled by the guest.
Article 7 Our Right to Terminate the Contract
The inn may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases:
(1)When it is recognized that there is a possibility that the guest will act contrary to the provisions of laws and regulations, public order, or good morals in relation to the accommodation, or when it is recognized that the guest has committed the same act.
(2)When it is recognized that the guest falls under the following (a) to (c).
(a) Crime groups, gang members, sub-members of crime syndicates, or members of crime syndicates, or other anti-social activities power.
(b) When the Company is a corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by an organized crime group or a member of an organized crime group.
(c) A corporation that has a person who falls under a gang member among its officers.
(3)When a guest says or does something that causes significant inconvenience to other guests.
(4)When a person makes a violent, threatening, extortionate, or intimidating unreasonable request to the inn or its employees, or demands a burden exceeding a reasonable range.
(5)When it is clearly recognized that the guest is a person with a contagious disease.
(6)When a violent demand is made or a burden exceeding a reasonable range is requested in relation to the accommodation.
(7)When the inn is unable to accommodate the guest due to a natural disaster or other force majeure.
(8)When the case falls under the provisions of Article 10 of the Tottori Prefectural Ordinance on the Construction of the Ryokan Business Act.
(9)Smoking in the bedroom, mischief to fire-fighting equipment, etc., and other uses specified by the inn. It is limited to those necessary for fire prevention.
(10)When a guest who intends to stay at the inn intends to bring in a pet animal other than an assistance dog for the physically disabled.
If the inn cancels the accommodation contract based on the rules of the preceding paragraph, damage associated with it the ryokan will not compensate the guest at all.
In the event that the inn cancels the accommodation contract based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the guest may still refuse to provide the accommodation. We will not charge for accommodation services that have not been received.
Article 8 Registration of Accommodation
The Guest shall register the following items at the front desk of the inn on the day of his / her stay.
(1)Name, age, sex, address and occupation of the guest.
(2)In the case of a foreign national, nationality, passport number, place of entry and date of entry.
(3)Departure date and scheduled departure time.
(4)Other matters deemed necessary by the inn.
When a guest intends to pay the charges in Article 12 by a method that can be substituted for currency, such as a travel check, accommodation coupon, or credit card, the guest shall pay the charges in advance at the time of registration in the preceding paragraph.
You must be 18 years of age and above to use the inn. Minors are not allowed to use the inn.
Article 9 Room usage time
The guest can use the rooms of the inn from 15:00 pm to 11 am the next morning.
However, in the case of consecutive stay, except the arrival date and departure date, it can be used all day.
Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the inn may accept the use of guest rooms outside the hours specified in the same paragraph. In this case, an additional charge of 15% of the room charge for extra 1 hour shall be applied.
The amount equivalent to the room charge in the preceding paragraph shall be 70% of the usage plan fee including service charge and consumption tax.
Article 10 Compliance with usage rules
Guests shall follow the rules of use established by the inn and posted in the inn.
Article 11 Business hours
Business hours are shall be as follows. The detailed opening hours of other facilities will be in the pamphlet provided and in the service directory in the guest rooms.
(1)Service hours for front desk, cashier, etc.
(a) Curfew The main entrance is locked at 00:00 midnight. The front door is locked at 00:00 midnight and unlocked at 6:00 am. If you contact us in advance, we will respond to your request according to the time.
(b) Front Desk Service 15:00pm-3:00am, 5:00am-11:00am
(c) Delivery Service 15:00pm-3:00am 5:00am-11:00am
(2)Service hours for food and beverage, etc.
(a) Breakfast 7:30 am - 9:30 am (last order 9:00 am)
(b) Dinner 17:30 pm-21:30 pm (last order 21:00 pm)
(c) Other food and beverage, etc. In Room Dining (beverage service only) 07:00 am – 22:00 pm
(3)Facilities & Services Hours:
(a) Spa Lounge Spa lounge with private hot spring 15: 30 pm-17:30 pm / 21:00 pm-23:00 pm/6:00 am to 8:00 am the following day
(b) Lobby Lounge 15: 00 pm - 22:00 pm / 7:00 am - 11:00 am
(c) Tea Ceremony Room 15:00 pm-18:00 pm
(d) Gallery 15:00 pm-22:00 pm/6:00 am-11:00 am
(e) Parking lot 24 hours
The hours in the preceding paragraph are subject to change on a temporary basis when necessary or unavoidable. In this case, we will notify you by an appropriate method.
Article 12 Payment of Fees
The breakdown of the accommodation charge, etc. to be paid by the guest shall be as shown in Attached Table 1.
Payment of the accommodation charge, etc. shall be made in currency or by a method that can be substituted for such, such as travel checks, accommodation vouchers, credit cards, etc., approved by the inn, at the front desk when the guest departs or when the inn makes a request.
Even if the guest does not stay voluntarily after the inn has provided the guest room to the guest, and it becomes possible to use it, the guest will be charged for the accommodation fee.
Article 13 Responsibility of the Inn
The inn shall not be liable for the performance or non-performance of accommodation contracts and related contracts.
The inn shall compensate the guest for any damage caused to the guest by the inn. However, this does not apply when it is not due to reasons attributable to the inn.
The inn has taken out a liability insurance policy to cover any fires and other accidents that may occur.
Article 14 Handling when the contracted guest room cannot be provided
If the inn cannot provide the guest with a contracted guest room, we will obtain the guest's consent.
We will arrange for other accommodation under the same conditions as possible.
If the inn is unable to accommodate other accommodation facilities, regardless of the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the compensation fee shall be applied to the amount of damages.
However, if there is no reason attributable to the inn for not being able to provide a room, no compensation fee shall be paid.
Article 15 Handling of Deposited Materials, etc.
In the event of loss, damage or other damage to articles, cash or valuables deposited by the guest at the front desk, the inn shall compensate for such damage, except in cases of force majeure.
The inn shall compensate for the loss or damage. However, in the event that the inn requires a declaration of the type and value of cash and valuables, and the guest fails to do so, the inn shall compensate for the damage up to JPY 150,000.
The inn will compensate for any loss, damage or other damage caused by the willful misconduct or negligence of the inn with regard to articles, cash or valuables brought into the inn by the guest and not left at the front desk. However, for items for which the type and value have not been specified in advance by the guest, the inn will compensate for such damage up to a maximum of JPY 30,000, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the inn.
Article 16 Storage of the guest's baggage or belongings
If the baggage of the guest arrives at the inn prior to his / her arrival, the baggage shall be returned to the inn prior to his / her arrival. We will keep it responsibly only when the guest has agreed to it, and hand it over when the guest check in at the front desk.
In the event that a guest's baggage or personal belongings are left unattended in the inn after the guest has checked out, and the owner of the baggage or personal belongings is found, the inn shall notify the owner. However, in the event that there are no instructions from the owner, or the owner cannot be identified; the property shall be kept it for 1 month from the date of discovery.
Valuable items are handed over to the local police authorities after a period of 6 months.
The responsibility of the inn for the custody of the guest's baggage or personal belongings in the case of the preceding two paragraphs shall be in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of the preceding article in the case of paragraph 1, and in the case of the preceding paragraph in the same paragraph.
Article 17 Responsibility for Parking
When guests use the parking lot of the inn, regardless of whether or not they have deposited the keys of their vehicles, the inn shall only lend the space and shall not be responsible for the management of the vehicles. However, in the event of damage caused by the willful misconduct or negligence of the inn in managing the parking lot, the inn shall be liable for compensation.
Article 18 Responsibility of the Guest
In the event that the inn suffers damage due to the willful misconduct or negligence of the guest, the guest shall compensate the inn for such damage.
Article 19 Governing Language
These Terms and Conditions are drawn up in Japanese and English, but there is no discrepancy or difference between the terms and conditions. At one point, the Japanese language shall dominate everything.
Article 20 Jurisdiction and Governing Law
The Yonago Summary Court or the Yonago Branch of the Tottori District Court shall be the exclusive jurisdictional court of first instance, depending on the amount of the lawsuit, among the courts with jurisdiction over the location of the inn.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

【Rules of Use】
In order to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, we have established the following rules of use based on Article 10 of the Accommodation Agreement.
If you fail to comply with these rules, we may have no choice but to refuse your use of the inn. If you fail to comply with these rules, we may refuse your use of the inn.
The inn may not be responsible for any accidents that occur as a result of these rules, and the guest shall bear the responsibility in accordance with Article 18 of the Accommodation Agreement.
(1) In order to prevent fires, smoking is prohibited in the entire building. If the smell or traces of smoking are found, you may be asked to pay 30,000 yen for house cleaning and replacement of bedding and equipment.
(2)The evacuation route map is posted in the information book in the guestroom. In the event of an accident, please follow the instructions of the staff.
(3)Please do not use the rooms for any purpose other than accommodation, such as business activities, offices, parties, etc., without the permission of the inn.
(4)Please do not move any equipment in the guest room without the permission of the inn, and do not do anything that may deface the guest room.
(5)If you intentionally or accidentally damage or deface any of the facilities, electrical appliances, furniture, or other items in the building, you will be responsible for the full cost of restoration.
(6)The door to your room is not locked automatically. Please make sure the door is locked when you leave the room, when you are in the room and when you go to bed.
(7)About the room key
(a) Please leave your key at the front desk when you go out.
(b) Please return the room key to the front desk when you leave this building.
(c) In the event that the key has not been returned due to loss of the key, the cost of replacement of the key will be paid in full.
(8)Please pay at the front desk upon departure. Please pay the bill each time. If you do not pay the bill, we may ask you to vacate the room. Payment for use of the room may be made in cash, by lodging coupon, credit card, or other means approved by the inn. No bills or checks will be accepted.
(9)Please do not guide visitors to the guest room without permission. Meeting with visitors is in the lobby. If you see someone who looks suspicious, please contact the front desk.
(10)Please refrain from bringing in or doing the following things that may cause trouble to other guests inside the inn.
(a) Animals, birds, and other pets. (except for assistance dogs)
(b) Explosives, volatile oils, and other ignitable or flammable materials.
(c) Objects that emit foul odors.
(d) Firearms, swords, and stimulants that are prohibited by law from being possessed.
(e) Gambling, disturbing the public morals, or words or actions that may cause inconvenience to other guests.
(f) Advertising, distribution of promotional materials, sale of goods, solicitation, etc.
(g) Actions that may cause discomfort or annoyance to other customers, such as talking in inappropriate places or talking loudly when using a cell phone.
(11)In the case of organized crime groups, gangsters, and cases where there is a risk of violating public order,
(a) Designated crime syndicates and members of designated crime syndicates are not permitted to use the inn in accordance with the Law Concerning Prevention of Unjust Acts by Members of Crime Syndicates (enforced on March 1, 1992).
(b) Anti-social groups and members of anti-social groups (such as organized crime groups and extremist groups, and their members) are not permitted to use the inn. (In the event that such a fact is discovered after making a reservation or during the stay, you will not be allowed to use the inn at that time.)
(c) In the event of violence, threats, extortion, intimidation, unreasonable demands, or similar acts.
(d) If it is recognized that a guest is having difficulty securing his/her own safety or is causing danger,fear, or anxiety to other guests, the guest will be immediately refused use of the facility.
(e) In the event of loud singing, boisterous behavior, or any other behavior that is disgusting to others or causes trouble, or if there is gambling or any behavior that is offensive to public order and morals.
(f) Please note that security cameras have been installed throughout the inn, except in the guest rooms.
If there are any other acts similar to the above, you will not be allowed to use the facility.
(12) A safe is provided in the guest room for the use of guests, but for the prevention of accidents, guests are requested to leave valuable items such as cash, precious metals, and other valuables at the front desk during their stay.
(13) If you wish to change the number of nights you plan to stay, please contact the front desk in advance. If you wish to extend your stay, please pay the room charge for the extension when you apply for the extension.
(14)Please do not bring food or drinks into the building without permission, and do not order food or drink from outside the building.
(15)The contents of the Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice.
